Wall bed / Murphy bed with sofa · Mumbai
The living room that goes to bed at night.
A Murphy bed with sofa for Mumbai flats: a proper three-seater by day, a queen bed by night. The sofa slides forward as the bed comes down — you do not lift or clear anything. Custom-built in our Pune factory, from ₹1,25,000. One room, both jobs, and the floor is still yours in the morning.
How it works
How a Murphy bed with sofa works.
Three things this wall bed with sofa has to get right in a Mumbai living room — slim closed depth, a sofa that moves itself, and struts that carry the weight.
The sofa sits in front of a 12-inch cabinet, so the whole unit projects about the depth of a sofa — not a sofa plus a wardrobe.
As the bed comes down, the sofa slides forward 180 mm and its back folds flat. You do not lift, drag or clear anything.
German technology mechanism: gas struts rated to 300 kg, cycle-tested to 40000 opens. One hand, about eight seconds.

Indicative starting price for a Dwals Murphy bed with sofa. Final figure depends on bed size, sofa length, finish and site conditions — we quote only after a free site measurement. Payment follows our published terms: 50% on confirmation, 20% when production starts, 30% on installation day.
Will it fit?
A sofa combination wants nine feet of room.
The sofa adds about 85 cm in front of the wall. In a room under 9 ft deep, that crowds the walkway — we will tell you so and suggest a wall bed with side cabinets instead. What does a wall bed with sofa cost in Mumbai?
Dwals sofa combinations start from ₹1,25,000. The final price depends on bed size, sofa length, finish and site conditions. Payment follows our published terms: 50% on confirmation, 20% when production starts, 30% on installation. Book a free site measurement for an exact quote.
Is a wall bed with sofa the same as a Murphy bed with sofa?
Yes. In everyday use the names mean the same fold-away bed. A Dwals Murphy bed with sofa is a real three-seater by day and a proper mattress bed by night — the sofa slides forward as the bed comes down. More on naming: Murphy bed vs wall bed.
How much room does a sofa wall bed need?
Plan for about nine feet of clear floor when the bed is down, plus a solid wall. We confirm exact fit on site. Our space guide and the horizontal vs vertical guide help you check your flat before you order.
Is a wall bed with sofa better than a sofa-cum-bed for a 1BHK?
A sofa-cum-bed keeps a soft mattress compromise. A Dwals wall bed with sofa uses a real mattress and a proper three-seater that slides forward as the bed comes down. Read the comparison: wall bed vs sofa-cum-bed.
Do you install in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai?
Yes. We install across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and the wider MMR with our own team. Site measurement is free. A bed-and-sofa unit install typically takes one working day once the custom unit arrives from Pune — the production window is stated on your quotation (terms).
What warranty and after-sales do you give?
